Trae Berhow of MN Lockdown. Trae’s off-season has earned him his first pair of scholarship offers and who could ever forget his performances leading Lockdown to the NHR State title? Outstanding spring/summer.
Myles Hanson of MN Fury. Fury was such a team it was tough to pick guys for spots but Myles was the most consistent producer we saw when we were in attendance. Always hit four double figures, always active.
Matthew Hurt of D1 Minnesota. Watching Matthew face D1 players two years older than him and out play them time after time was something to see. His shot blocking, finishing on the move, clutch scoring, and all around finishing were high level.
Tre Jones of Howard Pulley. Tre’s impact on the team was seen in July when his team was outstanding and then he went down to injury and everything changed. Tre’s talent has hit a level that few around here will ever see.
Goanar Mar of D1 Minnesota. Goanar is always productive. Does what a team needs. Often the top or second scorer on the team and when D1 needed a player to lock somebody down, Goanar was the man they had step up.
NHR 16U SECOND TEAM
Owen Chose of MN Fury. Owen had a lot of big moments but none bigger than his four three-point make game changer in the SPTS final. A definite point guard but Owen does most of what you want from a two as well.
Isaac Johnson of Howard Pulley. The high energy player was a perfect combo running along with Tre Jones. Isaac defends on the one end and flies the other way to catch from Tre and finish. Excellent spring/summer.
Nate Reuvers of MN Fury. In case you haven’t noticed Nathan has been flashing the potential with both physical gifts and productive results which has led to double figure D1 offers.
Jaran Roste of MN Comets. Comets Stumpf was one heartbeat as a team but when they needed a play then went to Roste from Alexandria and he usually delivered.
Jack Sorenson of D1 Minnesota. Jack should be on the first team but our format is five guys so he slides here. Call him whatever, he was outstanding especially in July. He’s added two new D1 offers since Las Vegas.
NHR 16U THIRD TEAM
Jameson Bryan of MN Warriors. One of the more underappreciated guards out there, Jameson was the handler, the leader, the big shot taker, and the playmaker for the Warriors.
Broc Finstuen of MN Fury. Broc really got going as the year went on finding a role as a top rebounder, energy player, and off the ball scorer. Really did a nice job filling in several spots.
Marcus Hill of MN Lockdown. The Lockdown had about four guys that were in support of Berhow but Hill is one of them that did a lot on both ends of the court.
Alec Loehr of MN Warriors. Alec and his brother Luke both had great years but in the big events Alec was the all event performer so he lands here.
Jimmy Volbrecht of MN Comets. The evolution of Jimmy’s game as a comfortable face-up skill producer and a low post tough guy completely caught our attention.
NHR 16U FOURTH TEAM
Kade Hart of MN Magic. He scored some, rebounded a lot, and always defended at a high level in the paint.
Jack Hutchison of D1 Minnesota. A trusted guard that defends, makes the right reads, and hits shots.
Shae Mitchell of D1 Minnesota. The other frontcourt option, Mitchell was a constant bouncing to boards.
Jaquan Sanders-Smith of Howard Pulley. A third scoring option for Pulley, he was always on the attack.
Mitchell Sueker of SW MN Stars. The Stars most consistent player and toughest player to defend.
NHR 16U FIFTH TEAM
Oakley Baker of MN Fury. When he found his niche Oakley was an outstanding role guy for the Fury.
Weston Baker Magrath of SW MN Stars. The monster around the rim was a big reason the Stars lost only two games in the first six weeks.
Dillon Haider of MN Comets. One of the most confident shooters out there.
Joe Hird of MN Warriors. There are many others we could have picked, but Joe was the defensive worker.
Mar Mar Hughes of MN Lockdown. Mar Mar was often the pace pushing tough guy motor guard.
Brian Sitzmann of Magic V. Brian's scoring ability shined with the Magic.
