The class of 2016 is one of the deepest classes in recent memory. The number of players who will sign at the high major level is something that is new to this state recently. The ones that follow and will play college on the D1 level as well is an extremely long list. Players in the D2-NAIA range or that will go JUCO puts this class as deep as we’ve seen in this state. These are players who used July to either solidify just how high their stock is or completely burst onto the scene.

First of all, these two weren’t sleepers and were certainly on the radar the past two years but the duo from McDonough 35 in DeJon Jarreau and Brison Gresham really cemented their national status. Jarreau being healthy again was all it took for him to really excel in July. The long guard who possesses elite level quickness on his near 6’6 frame put up big numbers. Big man Gresham was one of the hardest working players on the court throughout July.
