The most historic program in the state got off to a rough start in the EYBL circuit, but they turned it around in only the way that a Boo Williams program could. They scored a big win over Team Loaded VA at the buzzer in the Spring Jam Fest, and went 10-1 to finish off the summer in a respectable way. They sported the best backcourt in the state with two nationally ranked guards, and had numerous players with high major offers on their roster. Here’s a recap of their summer.

Overall Record: 20-13
Best Tournament Finishes: Battle of the Best in Charlotte champions
Notable Wins: Team Loaded VA, Team Final, Indy Hoosier, Pro Skills
MVP: Curt Jones. “He was always the focus of the defense and he always found ways to impact the game. When we needed a big play he was the guy who found a way to make it.”
Defensive MVP: Matt Coleman. “Matt always did a great job making teams start their offense close to half court and having to operate through a player other than their point guard. He’s active and gets his hands on lots of balls and his activity also speeds players up into poor decisions.”
Biggest Surprise: Jahnathan Maxwell. “He joined the team late but made a huge impact at both ends from the time he joined.”
