First Team

JT Gibson, Champlin Park, Sr. The Mr. Basketball award winner this year averaged 19 points and four assists a game, team lost once.  Headed to Nebraska-Omaha.  If you listed the “moments of the year” he had more than anyone.

John Warren, Hopkins, Sr.  Scored 18.3 leading the team in scoring, steals, blocks, rebounds, and was second in assists while guarding the best on the other team. Took Hopkins to state with Coffey not playing. 

Gary Trent Jr., Apple Valley, So..  Scored nearly 22 points a game on the state champions in Class AAAA.  Led the team in points, third in boards, third in assists, second in steals.  Hit several big shots in the state title game

Michael Hurt, Rochester JM, Jr.  The Gopher commit produced 21 points per game this year along with 8.2 rebounds, 3.6 assists, 1.4 steals, and 1.4 blocks per game for the Big Nine Champions that did spend parts of the year in the Class AAAA top ten.
