The wing can score with ease as he is a good athlete and can shoot the ball from the perimeter. We caught up with him recently to get an update on his big season including his epic shot in the playoffs.
“It was pretty good. We took the school the furthest it has ever gone in school history to the super sectional. We beat St. Patrick’s on a half court buzzer beater which was really exciting with it being a cross town rivalry. Overall we did good. It was the most wins we have had the last three years and we have a lot of guys returning so we should be just as good next year.”
Where did he see improvement?
“I think I did a lot better on the defensive end with rebounds because I was averaging a double double. Really this year taught me how to play against bigger guys because I am one of the biggest guys on the team so I usually have to guard their centers.”
Rzewnicki mentioned that Rockhurst College is a school that is recruiting him pretty aggressively at this point. He plays with Meanstreets Select on the circuit.
