The No. 3 prospect in the Prep Hoops Indiana Top 200 said he is still talking to and considering Nevada, Seton Hall, Missouri, Ole Miss, Arizona State, Maryland and Marquette.
He has already taken official visits to Nevada and Seton Hall and is planning to take official visits to Arizona State, Ole Miss and Missouri after the season.
All of these programs plan on using Gordon at the point guard spot, even though he has spent this high school season playing off the ball.
“We have two other Div. I guards on our team, so I have no choice, but the skills definitely are really sharp,” Gordon said. “I’m a good playmaker and work on my ball handling all the time.”
Gordon’s also continued to progress as an outside shooter this season. This has added to his versatility as the high school season has progressed and has made him an even more prolific scorer.
“My shot, it’s gotten a lot better since the past couple years,” Gordon said. “I just try to stay in the gym and make sure my shot is fluid.”
